Raises steady rest 1.25 for use with headstock and tailstock riser blocks
2-piece dovetailed base goes on lathe bed without removing leadscrew handwheel

Raises the Sherline P/N 1074 steady rest 1.25" to match the distance the headstock and tailstock are raised when riser blocks are in place. Since parts larger than 1.75" in diameter cannot be supported in the Sherline steady rest, this riser is mainly for machinists who plan to leave their riser blocks in place at all times yet still want to work with smaller stock.
