The individual shape of this tool makes is suitable for blind turning or undercutting where reach is restricted. Tool is to be used with the round bar directly behind the swan neck (curved area) against the tool rest. Can be used in combination with a thickness gauge. This 14" model is designed for end grain use on shallower depth projects. Fits into an opening as small as 3/8". Has a handle length of 8-3/4" and is approx. 14" long overall. Cutting tip is re-sharpenable. Ash handle. Made in England.
