Cut-off tool rear mounting block Feature

Mounting the cut-off tool to the rear side of the part allows the tool to be left in place at all times. It is out of the way but ready to bring into use at any time without having to remove the standard tool post and mount the cut-off tool holder. When mounting it on the back side, the tool is mounted upside down to account for the fact that the part rotation direction is opposite on the back side. A longer bolt is provided for mounting the existing 3002 cut-off tool holder on top of this spacer block. Designed for use with Sherline tools only.
